THANKFUL THURSDAY

Despite the difficult things that are going on in our world...

I choose to be Thankful.

I'm thankful for all the traveling Dave and I have been able to do.

I do miss it now though,

So ... I thought I would show you a few photos from our trip to Kenya in 2009.

It's hard to believe it was that long ago..It's still fresh in our memories.

Mama One Tusk and her baby...

Cape Buffalo....he looks like he has been through a lot.

Peek a Boo...I see you...

Hello...got anything for me to eat?

Dave and I absolutely loved seeing God's masterpieces up close and personal.

Enjoy your day and be thankful.

A trip to Africa has always been one of my husband's wishes. Traveling is out of the question now. I don't think the world situation these days would make traveling any fun. But, your photo shares are truly awesome...and I can understand when you say it seems like yesterday...so vivid are your memories.

Sue, you have done a lot of wonderful things in your life. Going to Africa had to be one at the top of the list. God is so good and generous to give us blessing like this in life. I was thinking about how many "God Perks" we have had in our lifetime...to many to list, but Tahoe, Sugar Pine, getting to fly from CA to Portland Main in a 4 passenger plane, Visiting the East Coast, and seeing History up close. Staying in a Pent House in downtown Chicago from a boss I had at Witco Chemical. The list goes on and on. What a God we have. There is NO one like HIM
OK sermons over...shall we take a collection...hahaha. I miss being a Pastor's wife. No I'm still his wife...I miss the church and the sheep and being a Shepherd.
