PLUM JAM ' N

I finally got to pitting and cutting up about 300 of our Santa Rosa Plums.

We had such a bounty this year that I was able to share with a few people.

These plums made some tasty jam for us and a few friends.

It sure seems like a lot of work for the bit in each container..

BUT...

I did it and that makes me happy.

It's making my mouth pucker and drool...

Just thinking about the jam.

A pat on my back for actually doing this project.

All I can think of is how much my back would hurt! But now you have a tasty supply, and all so healthy.

You deserve more than a pat on the back for all that jam I know how much work goes into it because my mother used to do it she made jam with every kind of berry every kind of Plum grapes all kinds of things! She even made watermelon preserves every time I throw away watermelon rinds I think about those preserves

Miss Sue ~ I'm so proud of you! Look at all that delicious plum jam. It's work, but when you put it on hot buttered toast...with it!!!

Looks like my canning days are over, since the store bought fruit just doesn't make good jam.

However, I love fig jam, and Marshalls and TJ MAX have an international section, and I can always find my fig jam. The last I found was really good, Fig jam with crushed walnuts. Yummy
