AGAIN...IN LOVING MEMORY.....

This past weekend Dave and I attended another Memorial Service.

This was for a long time friend, Karl Hus.

Karl at age 52, unexpectedly passed away in Vincente Guerrero, Mexico...New Years Day 2020.

We have known Karl for 30 years.

He was our own sons youth pastor at our former church.

His life was all about the Lord and caring for the less fortunate.

He and his family, wife Sherry and 4 adult children, gave their lives to a very small community in Baja, Mexico.

Sometimes we ask WHY?

Why to someone so young, full of life and doing amazing work...

I don't have the answers but ...

The legacy he leaves behind, the people he touched, his crazy sense of humor, the memories

that are forever in all of our minds will never be forgotten.

Our hearts are broken because of the empty spot that's there now...

But

God knows and I have to leave it in His mighty hands.

I will miss you and our conversations Karl.

I will miss your always caring for us and asking how you can pray for us.

You are one in a million...

Some of these things we will never fully understand this side of Heaven. May God give you and his family comfort.

I truly believe that we are not supposed to understand these things, but we are each going to be just a memory at some point in our lives. I just am thankful for those that leave us with such legacies.

Always a loss to lose a loved one. I just found out by FAcebook post the other day that a cousin of mine who was just 65 died suddenly. We hadn't kept in touch and the family didn't say what but that they were shocked by his death.
