THE DONUT QUEEN

Hubby and I had a wonderful morning yesterday.

Our son, daughter in law and granddaughter took us on day-trip which is a yearly tradition.

The weather was perfect and we sampled many different kinds of apples at several orchards.

But of course the very best part of going to Apple Hill is the freshly made donuts.

I know they totally mess with my diet..but, oh my...

Are they ever good!

They make the donuts to order, so they are hot, airy and full of apple cider goodness.

As you can see

I am the reigning Donut Queen...

The sign says so !!!

No I didn't eat the entire bag full...

Like any good Grandma

I shared a few... (:0)

We all have to cheat on our diet from time to time. Sounds like a fun trip.

Well we have a donut queen and a drizzle queen. HaHa. Love the picture of you, and only wish we had been there to share a few of those goodies. Loved the picture of your tour and sharing with the grandkids.
Don and I were just talking this morning about how fun it would be to go on a Wednesdate with you and Dave. Don't give up, we are already looking forward to some traveling in 2020. Hugs and Kisses. I've been making Persimmon bread and cookies, and my friend Sy just keeps giving me bags of Persimmons. What's a girl to do...insult him and tell him STOP!! haha. Tomorrow the Pastor and Sy both get loaves of bread and bags of cookies. Wish I could share them with you.

A break from a diet (with such a good reason) is allowed every once in awhile.

Cute photo - and good for you - you shared. I love apple farms this time of year. We go to one in "Oak Glen" that i love to visit. But the tourists there have multiplied like crazy because of social media. We only go during the week.
