Really like the depth of this post. As a child I didn't appreciate the significance of John 11:35. I was in Sunday School every Sunday morning and Training Union every Sunday night. In either class we might be faced with an impromptu charge to recite our favorite Bible verse. For awhile that verse was my go to response until my teachers said I had to choose another verse. Now I am thankful for those teachers, and they were probably thankful when I was promoted to the next age group!

I just read a bible study on Lazarus. He had to be dead that many days before the Jewish people would believe someone was really dead with no chance of error - had to have rotting skin.
But Jesus was there all the time - whether people knew it or not.
And he is there for you too.
