WEDNESDAY WISDOM
It's that time again....
Wednesday Words of Wisdom...
The weeks are just rolling around too fast for me.
this is all true for me also. the thing about the sugar cubes, I did not even know they were posh and the only one I saw was once they gave polio vaccine on the cube.. all the rest are 100 % on the mark..... Pasta is the one I like the best. never heard that word back then.
Me too! And oh yes, cattle feed. Also in the 50s if we had ever encountered sushi, my fishing fanatic parents would indeed have called it bait, right up there with night crawlers, catawba worms (from catalpa trees) and minnows.
I still swear by the medicinal effects of prunes! And sugar cubes are still posh, especially those individually wrapped brown ones. Pasta? What's that? Heinz spaghetti in a can....mmmm yummy! Mum used to serve it on toast. For me, vegetables were carrots, onions, potatoes, peas, cabbage, and lettuce and tomatoes in the summer. Anything else I had never heard of.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

This has blown my mind! But since I grew up in the 50's, I know it is TRUE!

It is simply amazing how things have changed so greatly over time.
How in the world did things get so complicated?
Me too. How times have changed!
