So nice to see this flag concerning all of the uproar Nike has caused this week along with Colin Kaepernick. I am sad to see the situation our country is in currently. Long may we remember our freedoms and the people who have fought for those freedoms.

Happy 4th of July to you and Dave. Mr Trump is making a big deal of it today. So now you have had an earthquake in California to make it an even more memorable day. Did Mr Trump plan that too? What a clever man.
I'll have to look for the problems with the flag, I haven't heard about it. Oh yes.... something about the Confederate flag on some shoes wasn't it? Surely there are more important things to worry about at the moment.

We did a little exploring on the 4th of July and found a Union Fort is Cape Girardeau called Fort D. There is also a Fort A, B, and C. They were all designated forts for local defense. Interesting CW history from our area.
