THROWBACK THURSDAY

Today I decided to do THROWBACK THURSDAY.

The photo is of my husband's Mom and Dad.

It was taken in about 1935  ..... unfortunately , no date on the picture.

The place is Nicaragua.

Dave's Mom was there as a private duty nurse of a Downs Syndrome child.

Dave's Dad was an Army Engineer doing a survey to see whether a canal could

be done through Nicaragua.

The government decided to put the canal through Panama instead.

These two met at a church in Nicaragua, fell in love and were married down there.

In fact they were married 3 times,

Once before the Nicaraguan government, once before the American government

and once before the church congregation.

I would say they were married for good!
