THROWBACK THURSDAY

I thought I would share a few photos from the year 2005.

My Hubby and I were working a Trade Show in New York City.

The City is such a fabulous place to photograph.

Here are a few from that year.

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Across from the Ed Sullivan Theater.

Fascinating architecture and fire escapes where ever one looks.

Reflections everywhere.....people everywhere...

This is one of my all time favorites.

Such a great advertisement on the wall of a building.

It's always fun to dive back into the archives.

Hi Sue ~ I always love you TBT. I really should do that again, since I seem to post food or Sunday Thoughts. You would think I really live a dull life...haha. But most of the time I think....naw..That's not very interesting...But you've given me an idea. TBT was always fun and gave me thinking to post on Thursdays.

Today I got so much done....Don went to lunch with a friend, and since he hates me to move stuff around in the storage space, and he's not well enought to lift and tug...so when he left I got to work and got down my Spring and Easter bins, and before he got home I had changed my Valentine splashes of red (also left over from Xmas) and had all the new up, and the ladder put away!!! Whew....in a nick of time!!! HaHa. It sure looks nice and clean and bright with all the yellows.

I came over from Anne's blog because you mentioned I-5 and Sacramento. By the way i loved my Lumix camera but then it broke and I'm so sad. Some day I'll get a new one. I'll have to check out more of your photos when i get a chance.

All are so interesting. I especially like the fire escape picture, it is quite artistic and evocative.

i am sure i would snap myself silly in NY... i love that last shot... i also would have taken at least 10 shots of that water tower in the first one. i like archive diving for myself and when others do it.

Have you ever visited Toronto for a trade show?

It must be satisfying to have an archive of old photos you've taken on trips that you can refer to. The ones here of NY architecture are fascinating. In the first photo I was drawn to the old tower being there in the middle of the modern buildings and then I noticed the music notes on the wall. Creative street art makes an area more interesting. Thank you for coming by my blog via Sandra. It's good to meet you.
