HAPPY ANNIVERSARY...55 YEARS......

Today is Dave and my 55th wedding anniversary!

How can that be?

That's more than an half a century....

We've gone through ups and downs....

The good times and sometimes not so good,

But I wouldn't want to go through them with anybody else.

It does make me sad to know that 2 of my bridesmaids and 2 of dave's groomsmen

have gone to be with the Lord.

We aren't getting any younger.

Fun times...messy times....

My oh my,

Lots of years,

Lots of pounds,

Lots of wrinkles,

What a difference 55 years makes.

Happy Anniversary! 55 years is a long time and I am sure it brings many changes, but enjoy the love you have shared.

Just beautiful..what a special couple! Then and now. Can't belive how much our weddings look alike. From your gown to your cake. My wedding dress hangs in the back of my closet. It has been worn 3 times. Of course the first time my wedding. Then a few years later had a friend who was getting married and they are struggling financially. I offered my dress and she was about the same size so she borrowed it and had a lovely wedding. Fast forward to year later when our oldest daughter was to marry. She chose to wear my gown and loved so very lovely in chantilly lace. It was retired after her, and who knows, maybe after I'm gone a great grandaughter might want to wear it!
