We had to do a severe pruning job this year on all of our trees.
They were pretty sick, so we took a chance on them.
Yesterday they proved to still have some life in them.

Oh my, that was a decisive pruning. Well done for taking the big decision. I'm sure the trees were a bit shocked at first.... oh no, where are my branches gone, not even a twig left!.... but they will thank you for it eventually. Brave gardeners!
Oh my goodness! But look at that brave bloom sticking out- like take that ye evil pruning shears! Nature always wins!
