Here we go again with the ABC letter that always puts me into a
QUANDARY.
I decided that my photos would be about QUARTERS today.
My sweet QUIENTESCENT apple was cut into QUARTERS.
My Hubby and I are trying to save any QUARTERS we happen
to find in our pockets.
There is an old song from the forties, I think, that begins,
Its a QUARTER to three, there's no one in the place except you and me....
My little QUARTZ clock seems to agree with that statement.
The two pictures here, I think, QUALIFY as QUIESCENT and
QUIXOTIC in my QUARTER of the world.
I love the QUIET QUALITY of the woods and mist rising off the water.

I like the natural and earthy colors and shades in your photos; and of course, your usage of all the Q words! By the way - when you mentioned the song, I thought it was going to be the song that starts, "It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk, and I need you now." lol

Do you see the heart that the second half is reflected in the lake? The heart is sitting on it's side....it is so cool.
OK-now that I'm not distracted by the heart, yet another great quip from you for ABCW!
Had to come back and comment again-flip the image one direction counter clockwise (in Photoshop, that would be 90 degrees counterclockwise). Now you have a heart which is on top of a chalice! How Quaint!

I think you have chosen the nicest of Q words - I don't see querulous anywhere amongst them....
That was a nice transition from quarters in coins to quarters in time. Coins and time are both nice things to have in life. :)

I saw a reflection on the second to the last photo that forms what looks like a heart in a reclining position. Fantastic. "Quiet quality" is exactly how I feel and think of the final photo. Wonderful!
