CAUGHT BETWEEN TWO WORLDS
California Gold Rush Days in Old Sacramento The two Cavelry men from the 1850's seem to be considering whether to step out of character and go eat at Joe's. The juxiposition just tickled my funny bone. Enlarging the picture will show more detail.
I well remember one that I missed a couple of years ago at the Antietam Battlefield of a Confederate solider going in a modern porta-potty, Johnny going to the John :) Maybe someday I'll get another chance.
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

I suspect the blue jean wearing guy on the left might be the first in line :)
Oh nice catch. The contrast is indeed amusing.
now that's worth it's weight in gold! :)
trouve t-on encore de l'or ? ;)
find some gold still ? ;)
And I am giggling here, when I think you there :)
And I am soooo jealous for those big eyes of baby giraffe,
such a beautiful creature of a mother nature!
Greetings
Leena
