ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " J "
Here we are at almost the middle of the alphabet and the letter is " J ".
" J " is for Jumbo, Juicy Pomegranates. Yesterday we picked the first pomegranates of the season from our tree.
Wonderful Hubby peeled 10 of them and now we have just the Juicy seeds to enjoy.
I am feeling a bit under the weather so I am posting this early and will jump back in bed for a while.
To see what others have posted for the letter J click on Mrs Nesbitts link on my sidebar.
As always, enlarging the picture will show more detail.

Check my new blog link!
And it was all Juicy red!
That must be very nice, it looks delicious anyway! I have never seen pomegranates. So I learned something new! I hope you will soon recover.
Oh, yes, looks delicious! And so JUICY! Great shot!
Have a great day!
Sylvia
So nice to have these on a tree in your own backyard...delicious...
The photo is indeed JUICY!!
J is for Jewels!
juicy and delicious rubies!
First time I ever saw a pomegranate was in NYC in 1977. I didn't know what it was, let alone how to eat it. I found them to be quite delicious but don't see them often.
Wow... a tree of your own... how cool!
Beautiful photo. It makes my mouth water just to look at it.
The seeds do look juicy!
I hope you're feeling better by now.
How wonderful to pick them from your own tree!
d'accord avec mrsnesbitt ;o)) Hummmmmmmmmmmmm
Ahhh do they look yummy! A wonderful photo of a beautiful fruit.
Have lots and lots of those jumbo, juicy pomegranates as they are full of antioxidants and Vit. C to get you back up to speed.
Juicilious.
Wow, I'm so jealous!! Hope you feel better soon!!!
I hope you're nice and cosy and dreaming of pomegranite juice! I've never tasted one.
Love pomegranates! They look delicious and inviting. Hope you will soon feel better.
Big and juicy! I love them!
juicy indeed...
here in Greece, pomegranate is the symbol of richness. so if you have this kind of tree with such jumbo pomegranate, you must feel very lucky
You really nailed that photo -- it really DOES look juicy...
I guess I'm going to have to check on this, but those Pomegranates look a whole lot like the Persimmons I know... I wonder what the difference is... In either case, digging the seeds out seems like way too much work to me -- guess that's why you keep that Hubby of yours around...
I LOVE pomegranates! I have one in the fruit bowl right now, too, so I'm tempted to just go and rip it open!
How lucky you are to have your own pomegranate tree! They are supposed to be so full of antioxidants--hope you drink lots of their juice and are feeling better soon.
Oh my these do look delicious!

Luscious photograph. Hope you feel better soon so you can truly enjoy them.
Hope you are feeling better - perhaps some of that yummy juice will make you feel better. They look so good!
How wonderful that you have your own pomegranate tree. It must tastes so much more delicious then the store bought ones.
Great image!
Would you believe it that I posted a pomegranate yesterday? (Btw, Carol of Paris Breakfast says their seeds keep her healthy through the winter season!)
Speedy recovery to you!
Yum.. that looks delicious. Hope you're feeling better real soon!
Hope you are feeling better! I cannot imagine the JOY of picking a pomegranate from my own tree. Luscious!
