Our Asian pear or apple tree , sometimes called a Papple, is full of fruit.
I think that by the time we return from Kenya we will have a crop of ripe sweet fruit for the picking.

Where do you come up with these names? A "Papple"? Oh, brother... Sounds like it would taste good with a Snickerdoodle...

I wished I could taste one of your truly ripe pear-apples, once they are ripe for the picking. I suspect that the rather tart specimen sold at Safeway's and other supermarkets are but a shadow of the real thing!

Kenya sounds really great.
I have never been in a safari, but my husband has been there and seen all those animals, elephants and giraffes made a greatest impression seen so near.

Oh this is nice. I've never seen this fruit on a tree. I love Asian pears!
I love snickerdoodles so I am sure the papple would be good with it. Beautiful fruit, I love the lighting in the photo. We have an avacado tree and a grapefruit tree that my husband grew from seeds.

I miss having fruit trees in the yard. Our plum tree died an horrific death.
