WEEDS LOVE SPRING TOO
Several of these puffballs have decided to take up residence in my lawn. Lovely in themselves but not in my lawn. Enlarging the picture will show the detail.
Both this photo and the one below are lovely when enlarged! And on a practical side, the greens of the dandelion are supposed to be good in a salad or cooked. I tried some in salad..a bit bitter..but I've not tried cooked:)
Whenever I see dandelion I always remember of my childhood when I used to play with its lovely puffballs by blowing it. This is beautiful photo that you have taken of it but this puffball doesn’t allow me to blow its seeds! :-)
I have a passion for photography. I use my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, so come with me and see Rocklin, California and points North, South, East and West.

I'm so looking forward to real spring here. The weeds.. not so much.
I think this soldier looks too pretty to mow down...
Hope you kept at least one...
Perfect Picture! The white against the green, stunning. Did you use the new camera? You seem to be mastering it quite well.

Poor dandelions...they have such a bad reputation. But I agree I don't like to see them in my lawn.
This is a pretty photo of it though.
mine haven't started blooming yet, but I've been hacking away at those that have started to sprout. that's a great detail photo!
Hey Sue! Thanks for joining my blog. I love the detail in this "wishie" (what my Grandchildren call them). What a great picture!

i really like this flower. how his part flying to the air. wonderful capture
Whenever I see one of these, I feel like sneezing. I like the title of your post. I don't think my weeds left from winter.
Beautiful photo......, when they don't move.
Fantastic detail. Perfect selection of DOF.
I have taken similar picture in past and that is a fascinating subject. I just remember how much fun to take such pictures.
oooo naughty dandelions making a home where they're not welcome. I'll have lots of them in a few weeks time, I'm sure.
When we see this beauty, we have a real summer already then :)
Greetings!
Leena

Really pretty! I am in love with your green grass. Ours is still brown. Brown as can be!
Somewhere I have a picture of my granddaughter and me with the biggest dandelions I've ever seen. It was a least 4 inches across.
Lovely shot.

We call these dandelions, or kids call them 'fairies'. This is a good picture Sue. - Dave
Gosh they are early! How pretty!
I love the combination of green and white, so calming.
Nice composition, Sue.
