MOUNTAIN MAJESTY

Thank you everyone for all the best wishes you gave to my Hubby and I. We had a wonderful time away at one of our favorite places, Lake Tahoe. Both the weather and scenery were spectacular. The sky was so blue at the 7000 foot leval that it almost hurt my eyes. There was lots of snow which we enjoyed looking at. I shot this from the car as we headed to a vista point overlooking the Lake. Over the next few days I will be sharing some of that view with you.
Be sure to enlarge the picture to get the full effect.

What a lovely photo, and a beautiful blog. I found you through Annie's Little Rock Daily Photo. I wanted to let you know that I posted a companion post about the Pyramid to Annie's post about the bridge. Please stop by when you can...

Great view! Glad you had a good time.   Looks like it was kind of cold, but I guess that is the price of admission.

I'm so glad you two had a good time! I think I'd love to shoot Tahoe one day.

Hi Sue, That looks like a fabulous place to be, especially when one is inside and can look out at the beauty for it does look cold there. I'll be coming back to see more.

And I see you have got some answers to your question about the pyramid in Memphis.

I have been too cold lately, but this actually made me want to drive to the nearest mountain. Breath taking!

Damn...reminds me of driving through the Adirondacks with my family when I was a kid. Majestic only begins to describe this scene.

And you grabbed it from the CAR? Damn, how cool is that!

Bonne anniversaire to you both. I'm so glad you were able to celebrate so memorably.

The detail that you can see when I click on the pic is great. It makes me feel as if I was there. I've even picked out a spot to hang my hiking hammock up at the top of the SW slope by the woods.

Ah - simply beautiful. I can feel the brisk cold air from here! Glad you didn't get bogged down in the snowy weather.
