I was looking out my window at our backyard and was so surprised to see two Almond blossoms in all their glory. I had to go out and take a picture of the first signs of Spring. Many of the other fruit trees are full of buds and will soon be showing their finest.
Be sure to see this one enlarged.

you have first blossoms we have first snow. very beautiful shot
You are lucky to see them. If there is a hard freeze that lasts for several days then the chances are the tree itself will be lost. I lost an old Japanese Maple that was fooled by warm weather in January last year and it leafed out. Too bad. I hope you don't get the freeze.
Oh,those are really lovely blossoms! I am looking forward to see them over here. Beautiful photo, indeed!
I enlarged and wow! How beautiful! Our fruit trees should be blooming out soon.
Very pretty. I'm envious.. spring is still so far away here.
These are BEAUTIFUL!
le printemps arrive et cela va faire du bien. tes fleurs qui annoncent le printemps sont très belles.
Spring is coming and it will do good. Announce your flowers in the spring are beautiful.
Oh...how lovely! Spring is just around the corner!!
Beautiful flowers;-)

Great shot, like this.
The Almond is from the first trees that bring flowers the spring, are considered by the excellent apiarian plants!
Beautiful your photograph as blog!

I am so excited about Spring!
Holy Moley, that's a sure sign of Spring, Sue. I think I'll go have an almond (or eight) in celebration.
Isn't that a cheering sight?
very very pretty.......around me it's pristine white and i'm sure spring will be pretty too :)
and yes we have invested in tons of thermal wear :)
thanks for all the wishes.....
The acacia trees have exploded around here in clouds of vivid yellow. I couldn't believe they popped out so early this year - it was early February! Weird weather. Your picture is beautiful as always.
Gorgeous shot. Is it apple blossom?
We are starting to get blossoms opening in sheltered areas.
Oh I cannot wait until my trees start to bloom! That's so pretty.
But today we finally got a real snowstorm so I will try to take advantage of it.
ohhh ... it looks very nice! I think the spring is so far ...
Have a nice weekend
Nice composition. Have you tried using the "Auto Daylight Synchro Fill Flash" on back-lit blossoms to bring up more punch in the center of the flower. Regardless, this is an excellent shot and I really like your blog. I am a new nature and photo blogger and linked your page on mine.
