The letter E is for EAVES. The eaves of the windows held very long icicles. I took this picture on our trip to Lake Tahoe.

i think that's one of the biggest icicles i've seen... on a house, anyways. wouldn't want to be standing under it when it decides to break off.
I'm guessing that one icicle is 12 feet or more long. I'm getting on the phone right now and calling Guiness Book of Records ;-)))
