I know I have been showing a lot of water drops on my posts lately, but I have to show what's happening around me.
I believe the name of the tree growing in my backyard is called Ginkoba and this is one of the seed pods that has begun to dry and shrivel. If anyone knows for sure what the tree is I would love to know too.
The wind was blowing and it was hard to get that droplet in focus, so this is a little blurry but I like it anyway.

Thanks for continuing to visit TORUŃ DP!
Beautiful and evocative image!
tis a cool shot
but I would keep and eye on the seed pods, that it don't turn into a pod person! :O
*old movie" still scare me!
have a great day! :)
You did so well to capture this. you are getting plenty of rain, I gues!
The 'Ginkoba' tree is what we call the 'Ginkgo' or'Maidenhair' tree. I can't be absolutely sure because you don't show any leaves. Are they a fan shaped 2 lobed leaf? The full name is Ginkgo Biloba, so maybe Ginkoba is a contraction of this.
It's actually a kind of conifer even though it doesn't look like it. A sole survivor of a family of trees from over 200 million years ago!
I think you can buy extract of this tree that help improve memory.....I forget.
I know nothing about the tree, but I loved the drop!
Neat photo. I love your eye for detail.
Great photo, more raindrops on the way?
BTW you're a redhead, right?
I've posted about redheads today, we are 2% of the worlds population. A definite minority!
The drop is like a third lobe.
What a lovely image. I really like water drops.
Keep on posting the water droplets! ;)
I love you water drop's photos; they are always beautiful.
J'ai eu un Award "You make my day" (voir mon blog). J'ai le plaisir de te donner ce même prix.

I love all kind of water drops photos, they are beautiful and some kind very fascinating.
you should show leaves of this tree, I would like to find out, if I could get the right name :)
Have a good Monday! We have already a late evening here.
Wonderful shot!
Doesn't look too different than winter in Missouri right now! Except our drops freeze at night.
Hope you are doing well Sue.
Mike
Great timing there Sue!
Nice one. It's so hot over here I'm afraid if I sneezed my brain will pop out, Sue!!
Nice focusing!
The ' Ginkoba ' tree scientific name Ginkgo Biloba, extracts from the plant, fruit, leaves and roots, make products for the skin, but also capsules for the reinforcement of organism, contain vitamin C, and other pleasant things for the organism.
It is sold in various forms, capsules, ointment, and drops in drugstores and shops of types of healthy diet, with Aloe Vera and other such.
Very good photograph, contains subject of season, and most excellent post
Sue: Thanks for your comments on my blog. I agree about the pink and red (referring to the redhead post). My mother wouldn't let me wear pink or red either, she stuck to blue and green! But now I am "all grown up" I do wear some red but I haven't managed pink yet!
Photographing drops of water or moving water is always difficult and a challenge. You met the challenge on this one! Great photo!
I love your water shots. This looks great! Do you have a variety of different plants inn your yard? I really like seeing all the different ones.
We NEVER tire of your beautiful water drops! Another fantastic one here!!
I adore ginko trees... but I didn't know they had seed pods. I just admire the shape of their leaves. Neat picture.
