Great to see someone else is doing the alphabet idea. To be honest...I think it was your ABC Wednesday series that originally inspired me to do the Toruń Alphabet series over at TORUŃ DP!!
une belle photo de cet arbre tout seul abandonné sur la falaise. bon choix
A beautiful picture of this tree alone abandoned on the cliff. Good choice
Yes, when enlarged the details of the tree are awesome!
A picture of a tree to a T!
Bet you are gald to be back from your trip north with all the rain they had, and flooding also.
Oh I love this; very good choice indeed for "T".Fantastic details!
beautiful shot, wonderful lines
You got a triple 'T' there.
Nice work.
They were all covered in snow when I was there. Lovely picture.
Beautiful photo. I love the way one of the trees is watching over the landscape below.
Wonderful "T" post! Enlarging it really shows the detail nicely.
Very beautiful especially when enlarged.
Beautiful Tahoe Tree Trunk. Good shot!
Beautiful shot!
great textures in the trunk of the trees
Must have been a beautiful tree in it's youth!
Still very nice! Indeed, great details in the wood.
They are great - thanks for sharing!
I love this shot when enlarged, not only the tree, but the lake and the misty mountains beyond. Isn't it interesting the way new trees spring up to fill in when the old trees die? The cycle of life caught in your shot...
Old trees are like old people. Bent, gnarled, and grooved. I like old trees though as they have a character that is all their own.
Love the dead tree, and all the great knots it has on it, along with part of it still being alive.
I love that. There is one near the country club where we used to have Christian Women's Club. The first thing I did when I went there was to look for the ospreys that were perched there, sometimes with a fish in their talons.
hey...
i dont' remember if i commented on your blog or not yet... i'm brand new to the ABC wednesday thing and wanted to introduce myself.
great shot for T.
you can check my first ABC post out here

stark, yet elegant.... you can never go wrong with nature's artistry! it reminds me of a photo i took from the top of seneca rocks in west virginia.....
Nice shot of this old tree trunk!
Love the detail. Is that the lake in the background?
Wonderful choice of subject! I love its weathered look, still standing tall after all.
that's a pretty alliteration ...Tahoe tree trunks :) and trees, bare or leaden always look beautiful....
hope your hubby is doing better, Sue :)
Nice ABC tree, love it
Last post of the east coast
Aren't they spectacular? Wonderful photo, Sue.
I love this!!
The tree takes on a life of it's own, even after it's life is gone. It has stood the test of time, age, and weather - and is full of character. Great photo!
beautiful picture!
This is another one begging for B&W. Since you're using Picassa, try the filtered B&W under the "Effects" tab. Play around with it. You can do a lot with the tones using this.
I love taking photos of trees, this one of yours has great texture and winding branches, I wonder how old it is
Ha, both of us did our T's on Tahoe. Great minds think alike.
