A STORM COMES THROUGH

Friday afternoon my Husband said come look at the sky. This is what I saw in the distance coming towards us. I ran and got my camera and started snapping the amazing clouds in every direction. The rain never really dumped on us but the sky put on quite a show.

Simply amazing! That would have made a great painting. It's almost as if you can see the beginnings of tornadoes forming? Am I right?

Indeed, this is impressive photo with those threatened clouds. That green branches from the right side of the photo took my eye as well; the only colour that can bee seen.

There is nothing quite like the amazing power of the wind. Mother nature has it hands down for sheer raw power. Good photo.

I have always been fascinated by storms. They seem to have a beauty all of their own. Nice shot!

your husband led you to snap them...my husband runs away in the opposite direction when he sees something worth clicking lest i hang there for what he calls an eternity...guess, thats the difference between a relatively new love and an old love .... :D

Ten days of super photographs just caught up with. Amazing sky, beautiful scenery and the colour of those mums ... fabulous.

What a shame you don't live nearer - it would be so much better for MY purse if you did!!!

you must have sent it our way -- it has rained all day!

We need the rain here but it hasn't been doing much.

Wer can get storms like that in summer. A few miles away can get dumped on and we get sunshine and of course, it can be the other way also.

Stunning pictures. Reminds me of the Central African storm clouds. They arrive from nowhere, dumpt their load of water and disappear as suddenly as they appeared.
