I love steam engines. Fantastic photo.
I guess it's just the kid in me, but I still love trains and train photos. It's good to see you doing a B&W for a change!
That's a good idea for the letter „E“ and very nice black and white photo.
Another engine shot for 'E', and what a good photo, love it
I wish we could see more of those old engines, so it's nice that you choose this today! Like the others, I'm very fond of B/W photography, super shot.

Iam going mad, I thought I had posted!
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
It is my age!
LOL!
See dot's....
Great subject for a B&W photo.
I like coming here to see your view. Great angle for the photo.
Oh, I got just now your comment :)
I want thank you for your kind comments!
And I am always wondering, how you can get photos like today`s photo. You find just a right "corner" and wow - perfect.
there's something about train engines that gets me nostalgic every time i spot one ...:)
Hi photosue, just wanted to say hi. Glad to see your creative spirit is still alive and well. Been off the blogging wagon for quite some time(& still happily off)--I'm so sorry for not having said hi earlier! Love the theme--makes me reminisce on a time when life was so much less complicated (and my favorite show was Sesame Street).
Wow! this is an old star!
Good tones, though I wish it weren't so blown-out. Regardless, the composition is really awesome in this. Nice work.
This shot is superb Sue. You have captured the essence of 1880's steam. This was a day when the locomotives ran each day as polished as they were new. The engineer basically owned the engine and it was an extension of him. He oiled, polished and oversaw its' maintenance. Your picture in black and white has captured that feeling well. Thanks.
Eeegads, your train photo is wonderful.
Very good tones in this photo, and the subject is obviously a favorite among many people.
I have such fond memories of this place. I do appreciate your sharing these photos.
great details. When I was child I was always mesmeried by the old steam engines!
Really nice shot there. In close, and full of interesting detail. Love the shiny bits too.
