Been off the blogging wagon for quite some time(& still happily off)--I'm so sorry for not having said hi earlier! Love the theme--makes me reminisce on a time when life was so much less complicated (and my favorite show was Sesame Street).

This shot is superb Sue. You have captured the essence of 1880's steam. This was a day when the locomotives ran each day as polished as they were new. The engineer basically owned the engine and it was an extension of him. He oiled, polished and oversaw its' maintenance. Your picture in black and white has captured that feeling well. Thanks.

great details. When I was child I was always mesmeried by the old steam engines!
