ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " G "

GOOD day everyone.
Once again we are GAMBOLING through the alphabet.
The letter for the day is " G ".
Aren't these Morning GLORIES
GLORIOUS as they GRAVITATE their heads towards the sky?

************************* GRIEF ************************

At the Tomato GATHERING, as it was called (basically a tomato festival)
I saw a GAZILLION different types of tomatos and other veggies.
I loved the GARGANTUAN bulbs of Elephant GARLIC that were on display.

The stain GLASS window with these lucious GRAPES
caused me to stop and GAZE at the beautiful workmanship.
I wish the GRAPES from our GARDEN had been so lovely this year.
Don't forget to enlarge each photo.
I GUARENTEE you will be GLAD you did.
GRAB your hat or your mouse and GALLOP over to Mrs. Nesbitts link
on my sidebar to see what others have posted for ABC Wednesday and the letter " G ".

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " F "

Today's post FEATURES the letter " F ".
Here we FIND a dragonFLY
being totally FOOLED by the FAKE
blown glass FLOWER.
I love how color coordinated the dragonFLY
is on the FAUX FLORAL beauty.

FUNNY, I have never seen a FROG this FANCY before.
His design is almost FLUORESCENT.
I FIGURE someone in the FUTURE will buy him and FEATURE him in their garden.

Aren't these FLAMINGOS gorgeous?
I FOUND them FASCINATING to watch as they FLUTTERED their FEATHERS.
The FLAMINGOS were FOCUSING on wooing their mates by FLAPPING their wings.

Don't you hate to get a FLAT tire?
I FEEL FORTUNATE that this one isn't mine.
To see what others are FEATURING FOR the letter F

DOING THEIR THING

The Sunflowers are definitely doing their thing this season.
I think Fall is just around the corner.
Please enlarge the picture.
Somehow the beauty of this
flower is lost on blogger.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " E "

Beauty is in the EYE of the beholder.
I like the EFFECT
of the lighting on the steer's EYEBALL.
Be sure to ENLARGE the picture to EMPHASIZE the detail.

The EMBLEM on the 1950's Oldsmobile is an EIGHTY- EIGHT
with an arrow through it.
Its not ELABORATE but very recognizable.

E PLURIBUS UNUM.
My Hubby and I have put some EFFORT into collecting
coins. This has EMBELLISHED our income just a tad.

This last weekend was a truly EXCITING EVENT for our family.
We celebrated my Daughter in Law's Father's 90th birthday.
Through a strange set of circumstances a surprise was created.
This 1930 Model A was brought to the hotel where the family was staying.
It is just like the car that her father had . He was given an EXTENDED
ride and he couldn't stop smiling and ELABORATING on the adventure all EVENING.
His age says he should be ELDERLY but he has more ENERGY than most who are far younger than he is.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " D "

DIFFERENT
but all the same.

DON'T you think the picture
DEMONSTRATES the thought perfectly?

DIRTY window !
DEFINITELY a DIRTY window.
The DUST and gunk certainly DISCOURAGE seeing a
DYNAMITE view.

The Ranger on DUTY is DIRECTING a DEMONSTRATION
for loading the cannon. This DEMO shows how the soldiers
prepared to fire the cannon to DEFEND the Fort.
When in actual use, it took 5 men to properly load and fire the cannon.
It was very DANGEROUS and DIRTY work.

DINNERTIME !!

A DROWSY piglet DOWNS his DINNER without a DRIP.

ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " C "

Last Friday was National CHEESECAKE Day.
Being the patriotic COUPLE that we are,
we did our CIVIC duty and went to the CHEESECAKE Factory restaurant and indulged.
Dave had Banana CREAM CHEESECAKE.
I had Fudgey CARAMEL Pecan yumminess.
I know the CALORIES COMSUMED were many
but I'm not COMPLAINING. It was so good!!

Dave and I love and have many COLLECTIBLES and antiques.
This guy is from my Royal COPLEY CERAMIC COLLECTION.
Jose is from the 1940's and still in great CONDITION.
He is actually a planter but I would hate to see leaves sprouting from his head.

When my Hubby and I feel COMPELLED to get away
we always CONSIDER Lake Tahoe.
CHIPMUNKS running around the CRACKS and CREVICES
of the granite boulders give us a welcome break
and a CHANCE to look at the nature there.
Isn't he CUTE?

I am CONFIDENT that if you would CONSIDER this for a while,
You'd figure out this picture.
You are looking down the CANNON barrel of a huge CANNON
that protected the entrance to the Golden Gate and San Francisco in the late 1800's.
Please make a CONSCIOUS effort to see what others have COMMUNICATED for ABC Wednesday by going to Mrs. Nesbitts link on my sidebar.
