DEFINITELY a DIRTY window.
The DUST and gunk certainly DISCOURAGE seeing a
DYNAMITE view.
The Ranger on DUTY is DIRECTING a DEMONSTRATION
for loading the cannon. This DEMO shows how the soldiers
prepared to fire the cannon to DEFEND the Fort.
When in actual use, it took 5 men to properly load and fire the cannon.
It was very DANGEROUS and DIRTY work.
DINNERTIME !!
A DROWSY piglet DOWNS his DINNER without a DRIP.

This post is OUTSTANDING! Who knew I could get so much joy from the letter D? My favorite is the first photo. Different yet the same, what a perfect example, I'm in love with it! also the little pig, how sweet!

So many D words, and terrific pictures to go with them. I love the hands, and the little piglet, and the bridge through the dirty window.... actually I like them all!

I think the photo of the GG Bridge is fabulous - looks like something you would have spent hours putting together in PhotoShop! So you're excused for not keeping that car clean.
A very clever and picturesque "D" post indeed! I LOVE the piglet! We raised pigs, so there was a piglet that needed to be separated from the rest of the gang as it was weak and tiny. We took care of it. They are so sweet and lovable!
Oh-and the hands -very profound, but it does say it all!
These are SO good! Very creative and thoughtfully done. I especially love the piglet 'though the hands is a great photograph and I feel sure would have some commercial worth.
