ABC WEDNESDAY LETTER " E "
Beauty is in the EYE of the beholder.
I like the EFFECT
of the lighting on the steer's EYEBALL.
Be sure to ENLARGE the picture to EMPHASIZE the detail.
The EMBLEM on the 1950's Oldsmobile is an EIGHTY- EIGHT
with an arrow through it.
Its not ELABORATE but very recognizable.
E PLURIBUS UNUM.
My Hubby and I have put some EFFORT into collecting
coins. This has EMBELLISHED our income just a tad.
This last weekend was a truly EXCITING EVENT for our family.
We celebrated my Daughter in Law's Father's 90th birthday.
Through a strange set of circumstances a surprise was created.
This 1930 Model A was brought to the hotel where the family was staying.
It is just like the car that her father had . He was given an EXTENDED
ride and he couldn't stop smiling and ELABORATING on the adventure all EVENING.
His age says he should be ELDERLY but he has more ENERGY than most who are far younger than he is.

j'adore la vieille voiture, superbe
What a wonderful old car! I admire anyone who has the knowhow and enthusiasm (and the money!) to keep a vintage car alive.
Happy Birthday to the 90 yr old.
What a wonderful post today. And what a great picture of your 90 year old friend in the old car. That is just a treasure in itself.
this whole post was truly delightful. the eye I enlarged and studied carefuly. each little hair, a perfect and beautiful eye. i like the reflection of the yeloow car in the rear of the other car, looks like it is racing downhill. and of course enjoyed the old car and 90 year old rider. great post!
Absolutely excellent post sweet friend. I loved each and every picture. So great to know your son's father in law is in great spirits. Love that!
You are so good with finding great images for the alphabet....Love that soft brown eye!
These are EXCELLENT "E's".. Love that Model A...What a special picture.
Yes, being elderly isn't so bad... I speak from experience. I can still out shop my daughters. Not out walk them, out shop them. HaHa
Very beautiful shots and interesting choices.

As nice a collection of photographic Es as I have ever seen.
I noticed that blue in the first shot right away! These are all great photos and Es. You think of the best things. An Olds 88....where did you find that!
i like the steer and the car the best :D lovely photos :)

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this post today! And I can't imagine the joy of your DIL's Dad riding in that old car! What fun! :D
Beautiful E post! I admire your effort in beautifully putting all the ideas, pictures and words together.
Happy midweek blessings!
That's a lot of Es. Well done.
What a great post. - loved the old car. It reminded me of our old Model T, - Henry by name, - obdurate by reputation...
smart shots...
lovely e post.
Yet again, another wonderful post! I'm loving the bluer than blue eye. And also the reflection of the yellow car in the car trunk. And what a wonderful and unique birthday present.
My response to that first pic: "You lookin at me?"
That car is fantastic! I wouldn't have been able to stop talking about it either.
Yowsas! Great post! Elaborating on an exciting event-that Model A would get e excited too-especially taking a ride in it!
Love those lashes of the blue eye. The old car and its occupants is the star.
Beautiful photos today. And that car? A dream. Your 90-yo kid sounds like a handful.
These are all great for the letter E but I think my favorite is the first photograph. I love the effect of the lighting on the steer's eyeball. That sounds like a great celebration of your daughter's father in laws birthday. Those old cars are so beautiful to me.
How wonderful to take a ride in that car - I'll bet that was a highlight! Excellent eye of bull, too! I remember the Olds 88 from my real life. :) Great e's.
that is one priceless vintage car ... they're expensive to refurbish

Extraordinarily excellent and exquisite episode!! ;)
Looks like it could run better then my car that decided to be temperamental this morning.Hi, I'm new in town. My E is in a 50 word story called The Prince of Darkness is a gentleman
I specially liked the Model A car Sue.
What a wonderful series of E surprises!
I imagine the E-motion the birthday kid must have felt riding that car. What a coincidence!
Greetings,
Merisi
Love the classic car!!!

Very nice reflection captures! I love the 30s vintage car. We had a '36 Pontiac at one time. It was so much fun to ride around town in it!
Great mix of E's in this post! Love it!
great! Excellent E words.
Happy birthday to the 90year old friends of yours.
Thanks for the visit
This is really beautiful and interesting post. Your photos are really great as well as the details that you caught in them. I love that beautiful eye on the first photo and the reflection of the yellow car in the second photo. The coins also make beautiful and interesting photo. And the last photo is beautiful too. It made me smile while reading your writing about 90 year old rider. :-)
Great photos, and a wonderful story about your DIL's father and the Model A. How sweet that someone was able to arrange for him to ride in that old car. With so much love in his life, he sounds like a very rich man.
I love the eye ! It's adorable with the long eyelashes !
That steer's eye is such a great catch! Thanks for faithfully visiting my blog.
So many great ideas for E!
