Thankful Thursday
I sure am thankful for everyone that wished me a happy birthday yesterday.
Its a milestone for me to have made it to the age of 83 ... How did that ever happen? I really don't know, but the good Lord has brought me through and it's now onward and upward.
A wonderful thing happened yesterday. Our very pregnant granddaughter and her husband surprised us and came over with our favorite donuts and apple fritters as a birthday present.
I took a photo but it was after we had already eaten fritters and some donuts ... yummm ...

I am so blessed.
The day before my birthday our son and daughter in love took us out for my birthday dinner.
We went to a favorite buffet at a local casino. We hadn't been there in at least 2 years.
It was so tasty and the "all you can eat" made for a wonderful evening.
