Thankful Thursday
There are so many things to be thankful for everyday but especially today.
Our friend just came out of surgery and everything went so well. We are praying for a full and speedy recovery.
Thankful for the beauty of this season.
God has the best box of crayons !

These are such a blast from the Past. No longer there but I just love this reminder.
I haven't seen a phone booth or public phone in years.
I just couldn't pass up taking a picture of them since they were all in a row and begging to be used.

I would never have guessed Disneyland! The first photo is such a comparison of color and texture. With the beautiful green and yellow leaves against the old rusted chair.

That picture of Hope Valley is right up my alley. The "dusted" quote was delightful, and it really spoke to me, as dusting is one of my least favorite chores to do. What a delightful picture of the photo boots at Disney. I've used the phone booths many times back in the day haha. That's great news that your friend's surgery went well. I hope the healing goes nicely and quickly. I appreciate your "thankful thursday" posts.

I am not going to fall for the dusting again either - waste of my time. We have the shell of a phone booth near us!

I love that photo of that little cabin! I could just go right in and stay and be happy! Love the sign about the dust...What is it about dust? Where on earth does it keep coming from??? I know...God created it and then He said from dust we were made and to dust we will return, so there's a lot of "people" coming and going around here in this dusty place! LOL. And I guess I never would've thought of DisneyLand for the phones, but that makes sense! Great photo! My how times have changed!!! Great post as always. Have a great day!!

great news that the surgery for your friend was successful. hoping the recovery is quick and smooth. This is a once in a lifetime photo especially since the phone booths are no longer there. I can tell you that the cabin amongst the trees and that rocking chair...looks so peaceful. We have had the perfect weather today.. Hope you all have too. love you!
