THANKFUL THURSDAY

 Thankful Thursday

The sun is shining today and the temps. are in the low 90'sF.  A TAD warm for me but it does help things grow.

I'm so grateful that Dave continues to improve and get stronger every day.  It is such a blessing to have home health care coming all the time.  Life sometimes puts a kink in our armor which actually is a good thing.  I find I can't depend on myself alone.  Gotta take the Lord's hand and let Him direct my way.

Just a word about my Wordless Wednesday ...

Debby / My Shasta Home hit the answer right on the head.

This photo was taken at a Classic Car Show a few years ago.  The "doll" looked so realistic posed on the backseat of the convertible Thunderbird.  I just had to capture it for use sometime in the future.

Thanks for all of your comments and thoughts.

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

Great photo today too! And I appreciate the explanation of yesterdays photo. That makes sense.

It must be the thing to do at the classic car shows around here! Lol.
It's good news that Dave is healing well and that you have the home health people coming out. That sure helps! Praying for continued healing.
I'm living the weather. We'll be out tomorrow evening on Lake Shasta on the dinner cruise. I hope there's no wind or I might get lake sick! 😩

Love today's photo too! That is so cool! And the doll at the car show was great! I am happy to hear that Dave is improving day by day. And yes, I do understand about letting God handle more things. Our bodies just can't do what they used to do, and I rely on the Lord for strength...(and I also call our boys to come help when we really need it! So thankful for them being nearby). Take care my friend. You are a blessing to me.

Oh, I am absolutely thrilled to hear this update about Dave! Hearing that he is improving and getting stronger every single day is the absolute best news ever. What a massive answer to prayer, and having that home health care team coming in must feel like such a comforting safety net for you both. You are so right, those little kinks in our armor really do force us to stop trying to carry the whole world on our own shoulders and just lean into His strength and guidance instead. It's a beautiful place of surrender.

Low 90s is definitely a tad warm (I'd be melting a little bit too!), but you've got the perfect positive outlook looking at how it helps everything grow.

Also, mystery solved on Wordless Wednesday! Debby has some sharp eyes because that doll looked incredibly realistic in the back of that Thunderbird. What a fun, quirky find at a car show.

Sending you and Dave the biggest, warmest virtual hugs today. Praying his strength just keeps multiplying this weekend!

That's wonderful news about Dave! I love this cloud formation and the jets; do you know if they're the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels? Both are fantastic.

What a pretty sky photo. 90 degrees is pretty warm. We haven't hit that yet, but I'm sure we will this summer. A delightful story of the thunderbird and the doll. Have a splendid weekend.
