Monday Mumbling and Meanderings,
I haven't got a lot of things to share today. The weekend was full of rain and chilliness.
We ended up working on eBay things and I continued to go through some old photos.
I saw this photo of my Daddy and me and was struck by how much our oldest granddaughter Lauren looked like me at that age.
I believe I was about 4 in this photo. This was one of my favorite places to be ...
In my Daddy's lap ... being deep in conversation.
On a different train of thought ... I think the Blue Jays are building a nest in some of our trees. When I came out of the garage this Guy dive bombed me. Perhaps I was getting too close to his "home".
Our neighbor's rose has survived the wild weather we had over the weekend.
I just love the color of this one, and I especially like the picture when enlarged.
Well I guess I have mumbled and meandered long enough.
Enjoy your day and remember:
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind.

What a sweet photo of you on your dad's lap. Precious, Sue.
What a dear and treasured photo of you sitting on your dad's lap. Isn't that delightful to see when our grandchildren look like us when we were little? A pretty photo of the blue jay. Yes, it might be making its home close. That happened to me once when I opened the back porch door - she just flew away so quickly, and I noticed nesting around the light area. That's a beautiful picture of your neighbor's rose, and a soft pink color. Sometimes a rainy day has us going through things that bring us lots of surprises. ; )
Wonderful picture of you and your Daddy. So glad we have old photos to look at. We had a weekend trip to Venture to celebrate Don's cousin's 80th Birthday. I felt great and handled the trip perfectly. One of Don's nephews gave us a large envelope of pictures we had never seen. How fun to go through them. I plan to go to Bible Study tomorrow morning, it's been 3 months. So glad to have my life back.
That is the sweetest photo of you and your Daddy. Seeing pictures like that bring back some precious memories.
The rose is gorgeous!
what a nice picture that is of your dad. A real treasure
This rose is gorgeous! It looks like a Knockout rose. I love the color as well. What a treasure this photo of you and your dad is. I was dive bombed by a Mockingbird once. Blue Jays are gorgeous but I think they are bully birds.
I love the picture of you on your daddy's lap! That is such a treasure. I have one of me on my daddy's lap too that I treasure...about the same age as you are in this picture. Precious memories! Your Blue Jay looks different than our Blue Jay. Must be a Western Blue Jay! Very pretty. And I love the rose! I think the rose must be my favorite flower. There are so many different varieties, and they are all so uniquely beautiful! Thank you for sharing this one with us. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
Daddies and daughters ... I love your image so much! Like Pam, I've one similar that never fails to warm my heart. I feel sad for those little girls whose fathers never made time. Weren't we blessed!
What a sweet photo of you and your daddy.
Beautiful captures of the blue jay and rose.
Sue...how great that you have this photo of you and your dad...A special time with a sweet memory. I so enjoy looking at the older photos when life was truly so simple. The blue jays in our area are so aggressive. I saw one this morning darting at a squirrel over and over again. I felt bad for the little squirrel. This is one of the prettiest roses and the colors are so soft...I know it has to have a wonderful fragrance to it. It's been rainy here since last Friday...kinda gloomy. Sending a little hug from me to you!
I know you must treasure that photo with your dad!
Wonderful you loved sitting on your dad's lap. Love the color of that flower too!
