Thankful Thursday:
Explanations first of all for my Wordless Wednesday ...
I really love everything about the photo of my son and Lake Tahoe. Steve is a professional photographer and I was thrilled with the results of my capturing him in a pensive melancholy mood. There was no manipulation to the shot. Those amazing bands of color were right out of the camera. There is just something about the stillness of the water and the color tones that fills my soul. I am thankful for my sons and being able to do things we all enjoy together.
Thankful for my walk on the Wild Side yesterday. "Wild" as in being out in the backyard again and pulling more weeds. I think they are laughing at me. They are never going to let me catch up !!!
This shows how much more needs to be done... it will get done !
Thankful we are seeing the first beautiful Asian Apple blossoms appearing on our very old tree.
I was also so happy to see the buds getting ready to pop on our pear tree.
I can almost taste that sweet fruit now.
So Thankful ...
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

Your yard is quite large. Love those flowers on the apple tree.
You do have a big yard to work on! Your photo, yesterday, is exceptional. Kudos to you! Thank you for linking up.
Both the blossoms and new buds stir something in me I've not felt for a long time. Thank you for sharing your gift with us, my friend!
How wonderful you have a pear tree! The blossoms are pretty. You know, pears used to be my favorite fruit as a child until one day it changed to cherries! ; ) Your grass is green already. And the apple blossoms are so pretty. I enjoy your "Thankful Thursday" posts. You have gratitude for many things.
They were beautiful and spring is coming Sue.
Oh, I wonder if a partridge ever lands in your pear tree? :) That would be something to see!!! And is your Asian Apple tree one that bears real fruit, or is it ornamental? You have apples and pears? How wonderful is that???? I would LOVE to have some real fruit trees in my own yard! Those blossoms are gorgeous! And your yard is lush and green and I know it's a lot of work, but still, it looks beautiful and peaceful. Just don't work too hard. Take lots of breaks and stay hydrated. No yard is worth "overdoing it" and landing in the hospital with a case of dehydration! (((HUGS))) Take care my dear friend.
Those apple blossoms looks so petty.
Asian apples, I have never heard of them! The flowers are really pretty.
Such a pretty yard, Sue!
The apple blossoms are so pretty. I used to have a pear tree in my back yard. The only time I liked it was in the spring when it was covered in blossoms
Your wordless photo is PERFECT and to me, these are the best photos. When you can capture a random photo like Steve doing what he loves doing. Awesome!! Everything looks so green around your place...even the weeds..lol. Can you not just mow them down rather than having to pull them up or are they growing in an area that can not be mowed. The blossoms are a sure sign that fruit is own its way! Woo Hoo!! Our plum trees have big blossoms and I am already so excited. Hoping to make some jelly this year, so hopefully we will not get a big frost before Easter gets here. I've sure missed you Sue. Enjoy the weekend.. Texas hugs coming your way.
Sweet post. So much to be thankful for. Maybe not the weeds but they do give you some exercise getting rid of them. Have a nice weekend.
