We are finally making some visible Progress around our backyard.
Lots of hard work for us Oldies but Goodies.
There is so much more to be done but I am happy with the progress being made.
Our poor weed whacker got a workout and finally gave up the ghost. There will be a pause until we can get the part needed.
But it is Onward and Upward.
Here's photos of where things seem to stand now.
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

Oh, you have wisteria too? That looks so lush and beautiful!!! Is that in your yard? So pretty. And I think you've made great progress! It looks perfect to me! Maybe the weedwhacker breaking down was a blessing in disguise to make you rest awhile! Sometimes we just don't know when to quit, so other things quit for us! God works in mysterious ways! I hope the part won't be expensive. We can't get our little push mower to start, so we had to weed whack a section of weeds, and one of our weedwhackers ran out of string and hubby couldn't figure out how to restring it, but today he finally did...so I guess we'll have to get back out there as I noticed the weeds have grown back up!! Even without any rain! Amazing! Take care my friend. Please don't overdo it.
It is looking soooo good! I love seeing the blue sky too. Good job!
That is a huge job and I can't believe that the two of you did it together. It looks wonderful to me. And everything is so green hello spring
It looks great! And that is a huge area to work with. I'm impressed with how much work you've done. I know how hard that is too - I usually get a landscaper out here to do the big things, but I've also got out there and weedeated, edged, pulled weeds, gathered, bagged, and hauled away. It's not easy, and you did good! You should be pleased with the work you've done so far. Have a restful weekend, my friend. You deserve it. ; )
Wow Sue! LOOKS AMAZING. Sorry about the wacker konking out.
I'm truly impressed by you "oldies but goodies" Wow. Plus its been so hot. Of course not as hot as it will be but still - it was 94 here yesterday, but cooler in the morning. Good for you. Now I'm thinking, the husband and I might be having to do this sometime this week. Ugh.
