MONDAY ... MONDAY

Well here we are at the start of a new week and a new month too.

I thought I would catch you up on how our weekend went.

We have a major project underway.

Its called weeding by two old geezers ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ˜…

Loved the rain during the previous week

BUT ...

The weeds had a jolly time growing lickety split...

So my project this weekend was jumping in and starting to get rid of the weeds while the ground is still damp and easier to pull out.

My wheelbarrow is full and it doesn't even look like I did anything on the side patch !!

I called it quits for the rest of the weekend and now I will try to pull some more today.
This was last night from our bathroom window.
I almost missed the gorgeous sky.  Two minutes later it was dull and no color at all.

Always be Grateful

Always be kind

It's amazing to me how very fast the pretty sunset can all of a sudden be gone.

It is officially weed season isn't it?
I applaud you for getting out there and doing it. Ugh, we haven't done that yet. Today is a beautiful sunny day and I'd rather do anything else but pull weeds. That sunset is beautiful. Have a good day Sue.

I am truly amazed at how fast weeds grow. Makes me want to have a slow camera out there and just see what they do overnight. We have not had the rain, but we do have weeds. I wish I could be out there to help you..BUT.... I decided that I would do a little cleaning around some shrubs last Thursday, and I pulled my back out. Had to go to the chiropractor this morning.. I even used weed control in my flower beds and its as if the weeds are ignoring the stuff. lol. Your sunset picture brought a big smile to my face when I saw it on FB. The Lord's goodness is so good. So grateful for you more than you Know!!

last April when Bob was in hospital, we had 5 days in a row of rain. nothing since then. the grass and weed were knee high by the end of the next week. like they had been fertilized by a giant. Its hard and thankless work. we don't pull ours, just mow them down with the grass.

Those weeds grow incredibly fast! And getting rid of them is not easy.
That was a gorgeous sunset.

Weeds grow faster than anything, I think! Like you, I have been getting rid of weeds and cleaning out plant beds.
