Well, it's happened ...
I thought I was excused from CA jury duty because of my age !
Nope
This came in the mail Saturday...
I am not a happy camper. Now I have to see if I can be excused again.
I do know its our civil duty but I don't think I can handle it any longer.. Prayers appreciated.
So this is the message to MYSELF !

Wait! The court sends you a preliminary form to fill out. Toward the bottom are exemption options. There is one that exempts you because of age. All you do is check that box.

Oh no, not jury duty. I was getting those once a year for the longest time while other people I knew had never gotten them. Before I got my hearing aids I got excused because I couldn't hear well enough. I haven't gotten one since then.

Praying the jury duty thing gets worked out for your best. Thankfully I've never had to go, even though I think it would be interesting...I just don't think I can sit that long without numerous potty breaks, etc. Yes, at this stage I would have to ask to be excused. I love your photo of the two of you. And I guess you are right, it's time to think about Valentines! It will be here before we know it!! Yes...I would double check the list at the bottom...You should be exempt. For several years, I was exempt due to having the responsibility of taking care of my niece. Now I'm exempt due to age. Woo Hoo. Hope you exempt too, Sue,. Valentines decor will certainly cheer you....especially when you get it all out and the pinks and reds woo you. You are my sunshine so you have to feel sunny!!
Sorry about the jury duty. I was excused because of my health but you never know if you're going to get another one. I pray you are excused. Keep us posted.
I agree - surely you are exempt from Jury duty. You will have fun with the Valentines.
