MONDAY ... MONDAY ...

In reading my devotions this morning

I felt these words were especially for me

But perhaps they are for some of you too.

" Let Me prepare you for the day that stretches out before you."

You would like to see a map showing all the twists and turns of your journey.

You'd feel more prepared if you could somehow visualize what is on the road ahead.

However, there is a better way to be prepared for whatever you will encounter today:  Spend quality time with Me.

I will not show you what is on the road ahead, but I will thoroughly equip you for the journey.

My living Presence is your Companion each step of the way.

Stay close to Me whispering My Name and being in communication with Me. Then you can walk through this day .

My abiding Presence is the best road map available.

Exodus 33:14

John 15:4-7

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

We don't know what is on the road ahead - do we. Gorgeous picture though.

I love it! I always say that I do not want to know the future. I can only imagine how overwhelming it would be!

I just came for Saying Amen Sister to Shug, and now I will say it here, Amen Sister. I just listened to Carrie underwood singing Victory in Jesus. I woke up from a dream this morning singing it and have hummed and whistled it most of the day so YouTube gave me this. https://youtu.be/BPlsOPDQr_g?si=0JCRIqYfsQraZSQt try copy paste I don't know how to make a link

I love the John verse. And these are lovely pictures to go along with the verses.. So good that you read devotions. I say the Rosary daily, and it always brings me peace. In fact, I used to attend mass at Saint Peter and Paul in your sweet town for years. I hope you have a splendid January week. : )

What a perfect devotion for the beginning of a New Year. We don't know what lies ahead in this year, but we know WHO goes before us and walks beside us all the way, so we do not need to fear. This was very inspiring and comforting. Thank you.

I love this message so much! At the end of the day, there's only One who's in control and He says, "Do not be afraid."

This is lovely, Sue. My substack post today was something similar to this. Carried Into the Unknown.

Blessings to you both this day, Sue!

Love this! We've been challenged by our Pastor to recite the Lord's Prayer three times a day for a week...it will help bring you closer to God when you remember to remember Him! I've decided to just keep doing it.
Happy week!
hugs
Donna

Thanks for sharing the devotional. I actually have it too, but have not used it for a while. Just took it off the shelf to add to the ones I picked for this year.
