I am thankful for all of the good memories of serving others.
Dave and our 2 granddaughters served dinner at a homeless shelter way back in 2008. It was a wonderful thing to do on Thanksgiving Day.
And so my Friends, I love you all.

Oh Sue, How I love your blog. You have just made it into a very favorite. So faithful to share each day, and your pictures and wonderful photography captures wonderful memories and events. How our grandson, Jon and Nick loved jumping in our leaves and making designs. How great for kids to learn how to be servants. You and Dave have been great role motels in that area.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving. I haven't baked for months, but rolled up my sleeves this morning and made two apple pies. One for our Manager, and one to take to Myk's tomorrow. Loving you and Dave big time.

That is great that you served at the homeless shelter. Many years ago, I gave out food to the homeless at Royer Park, if you're familiar with that park. It's an old one, in the heart of the city. It was a wonderful experience working with the homeless. Your picture of the kids playing in the leaves with the dog is a treasure. A very nice post you shared today.
