First of all, I want to thank all of you for your comments and well wishes for both Dave and I.
I am so thankful that Dave's pain is a lot less and that we are still above ground. Right now the next thing on the agenda is getting an in person appointment with our primary doctor. Its not always the easiest thing to accomplish, but we will pursue until this thing can be cleared up for good.
A huge praise for our sprinkler system getting fixed. Some very dear friends helped us and now we will no longer have dead grass. We are just too, too, too, blessed. I just can't comprehend IT.
Son Steve is on week # 3 of his camp work. Last week Mark, his business partner came for a few hours because he thought he was well enough. Not true, he went home exhausted and perhaps he will be strong enough for the last week of camp on the 28th. My opinion, probably not but who knows.
Life is good and the temperatures today will only get to 80F. That's down-right cool for the Sacramento area this time of year. Am I complaining? Nope ... I am enjoying it to the fullest and the AC is getting a well deserved break.
I guess I have rambled on long enough. I just wanted to catch everyone up on Life on the West Coast.
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

I'm so glad to hear he is doing better. It is so frustrating to have to wait so long to be able to see your own doctor!! Let me know when you have an appointment. Mark was brave to try going!
We’re enjoying cooler temperatures here too and I’m loving it. It’s 85 now and this sure has been the coolest summer I’ve had up here 17 years now. Makes me wonder, does this mean we’ll have an early Fall? I sure hope so as it’s my favorite season.
It’s good Dave is doing better. It’s frustrating that he has to wait so long to see his physician. That was awfully sweet of your friends fixing your sprinkler system. We know living here without summer rains that we need that sprinkler system up and watering the lawns or they die.
You and Dave enjoy your week. God bless
I love the quote at the end. That's so true. And I am thankful that God is already there. So glad Dave is doing better, and I hear you about the dr. appointment/pa, etc. We are having issues with that here right now. So glad that Mark is improving, but yes, he needs to pace himself and not try to overdo it no matter how he thinks he feels. Oh, your temps sound so nice! We had a cooler morning due thunderstorms, but it is making up for it now this afternoon and is like a steambath out there. I am so looking forward to FALL! Have a lovely rest of your week. praying for all of you.
I was going to ask you about Mark. Glad he was at least good enough to stop by. I'm happy Dave is improving too!
So glad Dave is doing better. Hopefully you can get an appointment with his PCP. You are doing a great job at staying positive!
Glad to hear that Dave is doing better. Hope your sons partner will be well enough to join him for the last week.
I'm happy that Dave is improving. I pray that continues. Our A/C is getting a work out for now but that's normal for our Summers. I pray for cooler weather soon and/or more rain. That would really help. ❤️
Good news indeed. Yay for cooler temperatures too.
Thank you so much for these updates! I continue to hold y'all in my heart and prayers.
So glad to hear Dave's pain is down and your sprinkler system is fixed – yay for good friends! And 80F sounds amazing for Sacramento right now. Hope Steve's business partner feels better soon!
