SATURDAY THOUGHTS

The weather has turned gray and blustery today.

I sure don't have any drive to go out and pull those darn weeds.  I think I will stay inside and work on some more eBay postings.  I sure wish we could sell some things.  The pocketbook agrees ....

So here are my thoughts for the day.  I'm talking to myself and maybe they will ring true for some of you.

I love when a photo of mine works well with a hope filled verse.

Maybe these thoughts resonate with some of you.  I know I need them today.

Enjoy your weekend

Always be Grateful

Always be Kind

It's a good idea to sell some of those things we keep around! About 20 years ago I had a friend who was out of work, so he went through his vast collection of collectibles and decor that had been stuffed in the attic. He made an average of $700.00 per month for A WHILE! Whew. Well, he was a collector.

Your photo is just gorgeous and the verse with it is perfect.
I really like the meme on endurance too.

Teen challenge sends out 2 people - usually one is the supervisor. It comes to $15 an hour - 4 hour minimum and with 2 people, it comes to $120. We went ahead and are having them coming out once a month and there is a discount for that. We checked with 2 gardeners that gave us almost a $300 estimate.

The way we look at it, it goes to a worthy cause - not that a working person with a gardening business isn’t worthy but as seniors we have to do what our pocketbook is comfortable with. They come this Thursday for the first time. I’m excited.

It's been very rainy here today and I haven't had any ambition to do a thing. It's supposed to be rainy all week too.

These are lovely thoughts for the weekend.

That second meme certainly resonates! I don't know if it's the weather (rainy) or what, but I feel like someone let all the air out of me.
I keep writing "eBay" on my weekly to-do list, but haven't followed up.

I've never sold anything on ebay, but my post tomorrow has something to do with selling on there. We have had full sun yesterday and today, but Sam and I have barely stepped outdoors. Hope you enjoy the rest of your afternoon Sue..

That is an amazing photo with the scripture verse on it, and the meme about endurance is just what I needed to see today. I am going to print it out.
Thanks for sharing.

It sounds like a cozy day indoors with a bit of reflection, and I completely understand not feeling up to tackling those weeds! Your thoughts on gratitude and kindness are a beautiful reminder, especially on a gray day. Sometimes we all need that little nudge to be more mindful. I just posted a new blog about Body Confident You: Body Confident Kid, and I'd love for you to check it out and let me know your thoughts: https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/05/body-confident-you-body-confident-kid-book-review.html. Wishing you a restful and fulfilling week
