Happy Memorial Day Weekend (celebrated in the U.S.)
I am so very grateful for all who have served and worked to give us the land I love.
Please - No Political comments, thanks.
Well, I thought I would show you the further "wildlife" that's wandering around our backyard.
This is pretty much IT after my last post...
I just love these birds and how attentive the male is to the female's safety.
I have enjoyed all of your comments on our fox visitor. There has been some uneasiness on my part, mostly because it was such a shock to see that big fox in our yard. No further sightings . We are at this point just going to live and let live...
Both Dave and I had our annual check ups yesterday. Apparently we are both going to live a while longer. Yay...
And now to purging and pricing our Treasures for a yard sale when our son Mark and family come to visit in June. What a job !! It's never ending and we have some great things which we will keep for eBay. Too valuable for the thrift sale group..
The weather has been cooperating so we are fairly comfy doing the work in the garage.
So much to do
So little time
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

Glad things are back to normal in your "wild kingdom". Birds are nice to watch and pose no real threat to anyone. Your treasures that you are preparing for a sale sound so interesting. You must take some pictures and share with us! How did you get so many "treasures"? Did you just collect them over time, or did you have a store at some point? Just wondering. Glad your weather is pleasant enough to work on that in the garage. Just don't overdo it. I'm more conscious of heat related issues now since our son had that heat event this past week. And that was actually in the cool of the morning! But he wasn't drinking any fluids, and the humidity and heat got to him really fast. So just take care of yourselves and take lots of water breaks! Enjoy your foun poring over the treasure trove!
And June is right around the corner! I hope the sale does very well. The little Quail are so cute! I have only seen a real one one time.
I'm thankful for all who have served too.
Glad you've had no more unusual wild visitors!
I am thankful for those who have served. So glad that your appointments both went well. A garage sale with be great. Enjoy your weekend.
Sounds like some very good health reports..YAY! love your last four lines on this post! June is just around the corner and you will be happy to have the sell and to declutter things that you no longer need...Glad you all will have some help. Hope you enjoy a wonderful memorial weekend...I've already put out new flowers at the cemetery..
Glad you guys passed your physicals! I appreciate all those who gave to our county. Glad you didn't see the fox again.
I am surprised you have enough for a yard sale! Good luck.
Glad your wildlife situation has settled down. It's never ending around here. A bear was spotted just up the road from us. Thank you for linking up and have a wonderful weekend.
Congratulations on the great doctors' visits! The feeling? Nothing like it!!!
I love that little curlicue(?) on top of the male bird's head; you always capture the greatest wildlife images.
I'm so humbled by our servicemen and women's sacrifices ... forever and ever, Amen.
Happy sorting! Have a lovely weekend!
I need to have a garage sale but it's so much work.
Yay for finding more eBay possibles. Good luck with the yard sale.. Hope you sell it all so you don't have to haul it away.
Oh, I hate hosting yard sales...always seems to be on a hot day! lolol
Good luck with yours!
hugs
Donna
Foxes are tiny and shy. Sound the alarm if a bear or drug addict wanders onto your property.
Sue, it was good to read that you and Dave had good annual checkups. getting things together for a sale is always a lot of work and hope yours goes well next month. We will be going to a downtown parade on Monday and hope it has a good turnout.
