Yesterday driving home from church we saw this cute family of geese
marching along next to the traffic we were in.
Since we were at a stop light I grabbed my cel phone and rolled down the window and captured these geese On Parade.
I didn't have my video on or the sound but the rear goose (Daddy??) was honking in a steady cadence and those cute little guys were absolutely stepping in time to his honk.
think they were on their way to Taco Bell but missed the driveway... 😋
The light changed as I took my final photo.
I am happy to report that those final two did make it up on the sidewalk and as far as I know they have lived happily ever after.
Some of the year around Geese have made their home in the ponds outside of our local library.
I think this family was just out for their Sunday Stroll, scoping out the neighborhood.
On another note; thank you so much for all of the kind remarks you left on my last blog post. They touched me so much and I am grateful for friends like you.
(((hugs)))
Sue
I am publishing this Sunday evening since I have a lot to do tomorrow.

What a nice way to end the day with your little parade!! You got some really cute shots with your cell phone. We have a busy week too. Making egg salad finger sandwiches for Tuesday Bible Study, and my dearest has appointments on Wed and Thurs. Hopefully the rest of the week will slow down. Sending lots of love and prayers for your busy Monday!!
This is the cutest thing! You did a great job getting these photos with a cell phone from your car. Thanks for sharing the joy!
You got such adorable photos!! I'm so glad you thought to snap them!
They make the perfect Easter Geese, not bunnies. Love love the photos and would have hung out the window also... love those babies.
Those Canada Geese love the weather there for sure. Lucky ducks, er…geese!
How cute!
I am so glad you were able to grab your phone and get some pictures. They are adorable marching along there. Hope they mad it safely to their destination. cute as can be!!
Adorable! There's a pond(?) on either side of our street where the Canadian geese gather with their babies. Thus far, I've not witnessed any casualties, but how my heart gets to hammering when I see the littles venture into the traffic lanes. I hope your day's not too busy/stressful!
That was so precious - I really never see anything like that - darn it. I bet the last one was the daddy - I have a feeling. :)
Oh, how cute.
The first shot is my favorite.
This is precious! Glad they made it around safely.
They are just so darn cute.
I love seeing the Goose Parade! So sweet! It's amazing how quickly they learn to follow their parents all around and across the streets. Our geese apparently aren't nesting this year, or they must be running very late if they are. Last year their eggs never hatched, so I'm not sure what's going on this year. Maybe they just need to take a break. Anyway, I love seeing these photos. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.
They are so cute. I hope they all survive into adulthood.
We have yet to see any CG families along the river, but with the continuing construction on the nearby park, they may seek other areas this year. These were cute captures, Sue.
I love those geese. Have a happy holiday.
