We had such a lovely day yesterday, full of celebration and enjoyment.
After a wonderful church service Dave and I went to an annual gathering of friends, for a tasty potluck and just plain hanging out together.
It was more low keyed this year as a lot of the "littles" had to be away visiting other family members.
Plenty of places to eat and chat and catch up on life.
I didn't get many photos and what I did were purely snapshots.
But they are mainly for my memories and not photo contest material. 😃
The weather was absolutely perfect ... in the high 70'sF.
There are some special events happening in one of the families .
2 weddings in the next 6 months and one new baby in June.
Obviously those were the exciting topics of conversation among the gals there.
That's the Great Grandma standing there. Solvig is such a wonderful woman. I love talking with her. We go back over 40 years.
The views from Wes and Beth's home are fantastic.
These are their horses out in their pasture.
Sorry for the blurred shot but at least you can see they are horses.
These were some of their cutest chicks PEEPING their Happy Easter to all of us.
The 2 ducklings added their 2 cents worth into yesterday's special day.
Beth had the most beautiful flowers everywhere.
I'm going to leave you with my latest attempt at a selfie.
Maybe someday I will get the hang of it and get my eyes going in the right direction.
Here's to another year of Easter Blessings ... wrinkles and all ...
Always be Grateful
Always be Kind

What a wonderful celebration. Great photos, and what a lovely home and yard. The best part is the fellowship with those who are dear to us. We had a lovely Easter Church Service, and then drove over to Michel's for a Family gathering. We are so big now, not every one can be there...inlaws and such, have to spread around the love. But we got to be with Michel's children and the two teenage great grandsons. Since I was driving...we left and got home before dark with a bag of leftovers.
PS I miss that sweet face in the selfie!! Hugs and kisses
What a wonderful day! I love seeing time with friends, smiles, and great fellowship. The views were beautiful too!
Oh, now I want a duckling! Or two.
Thanks for reminding me, holidays should really be about togetherness v. ceremony. Yours looks perfect.
PS - Selfies? I still struggle to get my eyes looking where I want them, but have the best success turning my phone upside down (vertically). That, or shoot my reflection in the mirror. Your smile here makes me want to reach out and hug you.
What a lovely setting, with such sweet people, I can just tell...everyone looks relaxed and happy and at peace. I love outdoor gatherings when it's in the 70's and breezy and nice with lots of shady places to gather, and to see the chicks and ducklings and horses! Oh, what a lovely way to spend the day. And I love your happy selfie! I can just imagine what a sweet godly woman you are and a person that I would enjoy having as a close friend so much. Wish you weren't on the other side of the continent! But I am thankful for our friendship here! God is good to give us this method of communication for good things. Blessings to you and yours.
What a fantastic time! You all look happy and just enjoying the moment. The ducklings are so precious! Blessings to you and your loved ones. Happy Easter.
That sounds like a wonderful day and it looks like you had gorgeous weather too.
Isn't it wonderful to just get together?! Glad you were able to spend time enjoying each other!
Well it sounds like a perfect day - spending it with good friends and to see the horses and the baby chicks and ducks. I just want to kiss them! 💋
Your selfie is better than I can do. My thumb is usually front and center. You look happy and content. The weather was beautiful yesterday. We had an outside baptism - 3 brave souls being dunked for Jesus! Touching testimonies, too - the kind that puts a lump in your throat!
Looks like you had a GREAT Easter weekend.
Just let me say that selfie of you was so cute - love your smile.
I love this photo of you! This is such a beautiful place for a gathering, especially with the lovely shade trees.
Great selfie, Sue. Your day sounds wonderful. Friends and animals…perfect!
Sounds like a lovely Easter Sunday. Love the view. You have some very special things coming up soon for you to enjoy. The chicks are cute.
Sue, from this post it seems that you had a wonderful Easter celebration with good friends, good food and wonderful weather too, perfect day. The views were wonderful as were the chicks and ducklings
