Dave and I thank you for all the beautiful sentiments and well wishes, both for our health and for our anniversary.
We didn't do anything but stay home and have sandwiches for our celebration. That was just fine with us. We will get out and go out to dinner SOON .
I really believe we have turned the corner and are on our way to "Normal" I'm not sure what that is any more ..

I zoomed in on the photos and the details are so good. the big drop of rain on the bud, looks like it has a shadow in it..so interesting. So glad y'all are feeling better and can stay this way. It's okay to postpone a special night...gives you an any longer time to look forward to a night out. We have sunshine today and it is so nice...

It’s storming here right now. And tomorrow 100% chance of rain.
South Redding has flooded in some parts. We’re not in a flood plain so we’re fine. I will be going out soon, so I will see how much the Sacramento River has risen.

I'm glad you are slowly getting better! the first photo of the flower. It is so such a perfect pattern, like it was mapped out for everything to be perfectly spaced and shaped.
I'm delighted to hear you're feeling back to 'normal' -- whatever that is! (Believe me, I know ... that's a fluid sort of thing.) I never thought about faces in flowers, but yes. This one reminds me of a black-eyed little girl, her mouth open in wonder at something totally captivating!
Lovely photos and I am glad to hear there is some improvement health wise!
Small celebrations and just being together is just as good as going out.
