A BELATED HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

 Happy Love Month !

I know this is a day late but the sentiment is still the same.

I wish you all the love and joy today and always.

After being with my friend Lynne yesterday, I was ready to spend some time with my Hubby and we went out to our favorite Burger Joint to celebrate Valentines Day.

It was a much needed happy ending to the day.

The place is called Squeeze Burger and boy are their burgers delicious.                         They are definitely a splurge to the diet.  Charles (the owner) had a special of 2 entrees, 1 large fries and 2 small drinks for $25.00 .  You can't even go to McDonalds for that nowadays!

My order was a SQUEEZE with Cheese...  the best ground meat and the best cheese plus all the lettuce, tomatoes, pickle and onions.  I know... poor arteries ... but oh my, was it good

Dave got the steak sandwich which is his go-to favorite meat of all.

Messy but oh so delicious.

We were two happy campers....

One has to splurge once in a while.

Always be grateful

Always be Kind

Splurging is good (Sometimes) and this burger and steak sandwich looks like it was a GREAT way to splurge. This really is a great deal, especially to get delicious food. Glad y'all had a good evening out celebrating your love.

I agree, you gotta splurge every once in a while. Both of those sandwiches look so delicious.

I love burgers, bob does too, but he would go with the steak. he loves that more than burgers and I love burgers above all else. so glad you got to go out and splurge and have good food and a good time.. I will not wish you happy Valentine because you already had a happy valentine

Yummmm! Given our disappointing experience at Olive Garden yesterday, I wish we'd opted for a burger -- "real food for real people" (lol). I never heard of Squeeze Burgers, but when we lived in Arizona they had a franchise called, "Smash Burgers."

Myra, this is a local small business burger place right in our own community. It used to be called Squeeze In when it was in Sacramento. It was a tiny, few seats "joint".. the lines were always out the door and around the corner. Due to some circumstances they moved out to Roseville, CA( about an half an hour away) to a larger place. Same great burgers and same great family owners. Its one of the few family owned restaurants that has made it. we have been going for 17 years. It never disappoints.

I'm so glad you were able to get out and enjoy it after all the sickness you went through earlier. The burgers look so good!

Oh my gosh, this looks so good!!! Kind of fancy, yet not fancy both at the same time. I'm so glad you had such a great time!

I think that was a lovely way to spend Valentines day, especially after a long day of caregiving. I would choose Dave's steak sandwich. I do love "red" meat. We were given a Omaha Steak package for Christmas from Don's cousin in Idaho. Yummy, burgers, steaks, chicken breasts and porkchops. I'm in heaven, and now getting to experiment with the airfryer.

I've never heard of Squeeze Burger. I'm guessing we don't have them in my neck of the woods.
It's been a long time since I had a burger, but your post is making me crave one right now.

I'm not actually into burgers, but I do like Whataburgers here. (and this is what we did for Valentine's too) But Squeeze burgers look really good!

Sounds like a great day out and delicious meal. We rarely eat out anymore. If we go anywhere we stick with appetizers. The cost of everything is so much these days. We use to love our favorite places like Chilis and Macaroni Grill, (which closed many locations), Red Robin, and small places up in the mountains. But, now we pass it all up so we can buy eggs (just kidding) on the eggs. We actually can still get a dozen for 5.99 up here .
