Finally we are getting our winter weather.
The rain has been coming down steadily all night long and the winds they are a-blowing.
We are so thankful for our new utility pump and hoses. What a life saver when things got so "sloppy" in our yard.
The gusty winds and pelting rain are doing a number on our camellia bush.
We have had hardly any blossoms this year and now the rain is battering them.

There HAS to be a little bit of Christmas in our house this year!
I just can't believe how "un-Christmasy" it is.
This is a First for our 60 years of marriage.!
Dave is doing well and I keep praying that all of this is finally behind us.
Our big outing yesterday was going to get gas. Can't ride on fumes forever..

So thankful that Dave is so much better. What a wonderful Christmas Gift! Love the pictures...and that Nativity is all you need. That's what Christmas is really all about, isn't it? What are the red berries? And I know you miss your camellia blossoms. I don't have any bushes here, but had them at our last house. I wish I had brought some with me, because now the people who live there dug up every single bush and tree we had planted there. Not sure what for, but they did. Oh well...it's their house now, not mine! God has blessed me with many beauties here to enjoy. I'm glad you are getting much needed rain. Wondering if we will get your rain...is it coming south? So glad you got your new pump and hose. Also so blessed that Dave is improving. Don is doing very good today as it's day 4 from his root canal. He can finally eat some soft food. The kids got me a NEW phone, and I'm having to learn all the new bells and whistles! I'm to old for this!!! The medication the Urologist put me on is working~~YEAH! Some side effects but I can deal with them.
My Christmas is mimimal this year. I think a Nativity is all you need. Isn't that the reason for the season? That's a lovely Nativity Scene!

so glad you have that pump. our outings are doc visits, vet visits, Publix/Walmart, I get gas at WM when I buy food, so that cuts back on outings. my Kia puts 20 miles per week on it, that means we are homebound

You sure have a beautiful view with the red berry looking bush. It rained here last evening but I don't think we got as much as you all. Sure thankful that Dave is doing so much better and you know what....if a nativity scene is all you have out for Christmas. decorations, .then this is perfectly fine. You have had a lot on your plate this season. The Nativity makes for the most wonderful Christmas decorations of all. Have a nice week and just enjoy the time.
Your plant from last year is beautiful. I hope it comes out this year now with the rain. Glad Dave is doing better. The nativity scene is what it is all about - that is enough!

Glad to hear that Dave is doing well. Yes, things are different for me too with my two issues. I have maybe put out a 1/4 of decorations. Tree is up but will not have ornaments on it. Your nativity is lovely. Send some rain our way please. You take care and God Bless.
