Boy oh Boy..do I have so much to be thankful for.
Where do I start?
Our Small Group Bible Study always comes to our home for meetings and usually dinner of some sort.
The last time was for our Christmas get together. Everyone always dives in and helps clear the table and gets the dishes done. Always lots of laughter and chit chatting while doing the "chore".
I have to keep reminding them that our dishwasher doesn't work so just rinse the dishes and I will get to them later. Then they rinse the dishes but our faucet has sprung a leak and all get "baptized" if they don't know how to place the faucet.
The next week we had a surprise visit from our leader and his wife.
They said that the entire group wanted to bless and gift us with a new faucet and dishwasher!!!!!

They have been so thankful for coming to our home for the last 14 years and eating at our table and just enjoying each other's company..
Tears were flowing...
Our faucet and washer are now in and last night we finally had enough dishes to do a full load..
Yay, all is fantastic and our minds are just boggled with the love and generosity of our friends.
Our leader Joe, and his son in law Scott...Scott can do just about any kind of installation and was wonderful. He worked so hard.
I'm so glad someone can read those crazy instructions.
We are truly BLESSED...
How does one ever say Thank You enough?

God knows how to give good gifts to His children. How wonderful you were bless with the new faucet and dishwasher, and the group that gifted it to you, are being blessed for their love and generosity. Win Win....God is so good!!

Fantastic and also almost unbeliveable. I am so happy for you and God bless those that gave it to you. now you can have 14 more years of fun filled meetings and just put it all in the dishwasher. I have never had one, and no one in my family has, except my brother and he lives 10 hours away.

Gosh, that is a wonderful gift. You are obviously very much appreciated by your church community. Now you and hubby get to argue about who loads the dishwasher... and who empties it!

Well deserved from a thankful group! Great news!
What a wonderful surprise for a lovely couple!
We had been without an operating dishwasher for several years. Since my stroke, Hubby has banned me from the kitchen for safety concerns. He finally broke down when we were in the vicinity of an appliance store that was far from home but had supplied us with a refrigerator for our newly built home that has been excellent. They were still in business. Hubby went in, ordered the dishwasher that was exactly what we wanted at a price for the appliance and installation at a much lower prices than at the big box chain stores. Delivery and installation was accomplished by two courteous guys January 4th and we are happy campers! LC

Wow what great friends you have but it sounds like you deserved it with your hospitality over the years. Friends are so important.
