SIGNS OF WINTER

Last night was our first photo club meeting of the year.

Zoom is a great way to chat with people throughout the States.

Our challenge was "Signs of Winter".

I was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday so I thought my submission depicted the day and my feelings.

Cold ... gloomy... and one last leaf on the barren tree.

The best part of the photo is the sun trying to break through.

It fits perfectly with our scripture verses for this new year.

I Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Its looking beyond the darkness of the day and into His Promises for me.

I'm feeling so much better today and had a good sleep last night.

We too had black gray skies - a horrific storm - but we made it - and hopefully it will fill the ground for flowers in spring.

Hope that you are feeling better, Sue. I also agree that your photo seems to capture winter's gloom and would gladly share some of our recent snowfall in NH.

Looks much like winter here. Everything is so barren :( Thank you for linking up.

Even cold in "Sunny" California. Today was a good day. Got fitted for new hearing aids. Will get them in a couple weeks. Hopefully it will really help in softening background noise and enhancing clarity in voices.

Have some new ideas for changing my living room, little dining area and kitchen with out spending a lot of money...will share more later!!

Sending love and hugs
Wanda
