CLOUDS AND PUMPKINS - THANKFUL THURSDAY

First of all, Thank You Dear Friends for all of your tender and thoughtful comments on my last blog post.

Sometimes I just have to get it out in the open.  Life can be heavy sometimes.

This is Thankful Thursday.

I am truly thankful for our weather cooling down and for the Spritz of rain we had a few days ago.

Today there's nary a cloud in the sky and the temperature is 60F.  It did get down to 47F.  No wonder I got cold and had to put a blanket on.  This is a fickle temperature time of the year...Its suppose to get up to 78F by 4PM... can you say "sweater on...sweater off...sweater on again"???

Several days ago when the morning sky was so lovely.

That afternoon there was the promise of rain.
It never came until the following day.

On another vein of conversation...

Isn't this a clever idea for Fall Decor?

I may even try to do it for Thanksgiving..or maybe I'll just wish I could do it!!

Enjoy your day...

Is it painted? I got an awesome pumpkin idea, use temporary tattoos! Really cheap, and there are some beautiful ones. I am going to try it and post it if it works.

What a beautiful way to do pumpkins.

I am glad it cooled off a bit there. It is here too.

it is a very clever idea, now if i had modge podge or glue to put leaves and sticks on it, and a pumpkin, and pretty leaves or flowers I might do it. ha ha ha ha NOT me.. but I love it.
we had 3 days of wake up in high 60's and no humidity. 2 days ago it slammed us with 98 for humidity and wake up to 84 this morning. a promise of rain, we got 3 one minute spritze

Pretty pumpkin, perhaps I should try to make one like that.
I just read your previous post, and I'm sending you lots of sympathy and more than a few hugs. Your photograph shows exactly how you are feeling..... but I see a lot of beauty there too.
