HEARTS AND FLOWERS

The other day while getting out of the car, which was in a tight spot,

I bumped my arm on the mirror of the car next to me.

"Old Lady Skin" isn't fun to have!

That small bump hurt and here's the result...

Can you see the Heart?

I guess there's some love in that wound.  Its going to take forever for it to go away.

Yesterday Dave and I took some "Me" time and went on a short photoshoot.

We weren't too successful but it was so nice to just get out on a 80F. day.

Saw this tiny flower at the nursery we went to.

It didn't have a tag on it so I don't know what it's called.

So that's why I'm calling this post

HEARTS AND FLOWERS

Enjoy your day

I saw your heart immediately! So now you have two hearts! A blessing that you did not get hurt worse. What an adorable little flower! Perfect blog title!

Oh, ouch!
I too saw the heart right away. There's no mistaking it.

It's not fun getting a bruise, but to get it in the shape of a heart is a reminder of Love!

Poor Don, he bruises so easily. Blood thinners don't help. He has a black eye from the small surgery he had yesterday to remove a skin cancer on the side of his face. I sent a picture to the kids, and they all have a sense of humor...Myk ask if his dad had been in a bar brawl! And Julie wanted to know if Rocky won the fight!! So glad we can laugh at our hurts!!

the flower is a Moss Rose succulent. search your MEMORY for my rose moss photos... I love them and have them all summer. I actually at this moment had one of these brusies on each arm, and they have been there almost a week. everything i bump does this but i don't have any heart shaped ones. YET!

I hope your "heart" heals fast.

Wishing you speedy healing :)

Ouch, Sue, hope that bruise heals quickly. I have a tendency to bruise very easily when bumping into things and the aftermath tends to be very colorful shades of purples and yellows. Your heart was preferable.

Ouch I bet that hurt but how cute to have a heart without having a tattoo. Nice to have me time.

It's always so good to get out on a photo shoot. I haven't been out near as much as I plan to now that fall is in the air.

I recognize that skin thing you talk about. I barely bump my arm and I've got one that lasts for days. I also notice as I've gotten older that I get much colder that I use to or much hotter. I guess it has to do with skin being so thin.

But good thing is you got a Heart.
