PASTOR BEN FROM COSTA RICA

This post is mostly for me and my annual book.

Last night Dave and I were invited to a get together for the team from our photography club that did a mission photography trip to Costa Rica last month.

Pastor Ben and his family were visiting the US and thanking people who had been part of his support at his Mission.

One of the ways he earns money for his family is through the coffee plantations.

He has developed the coffee plantation and the goal is to provide work and an income for the community.  It has been so successful.

Last night he brought us each a small bag of coffee beans, but the best part was his making us all coffee from his precious beans.

The fragrance and smooth taste was absolutely wonderful.

God and Coffee! What could be better? ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

He has a special kind of brewing pot and was showing us how the coffee is made.

This was the first time I had met some of these people in person.

Our meetings are all via Zoom... so this was very special.

Totally enjoyed the evening and now I will have it in my journal book.

What a wonderful and special time! I see that brewer, it looks kind of like the pour-over kind. Those kind take all the bitterness out, we used to have one.

I would love to taste it but it would have to be before 9 am. can't drink coffee after that. it makes me wide eyed. the coffee plantation is a great way to raise the funds plus helping give others jobs. Prayers for God to bless their ministry

How wonderful to have been able to meet up with people face-to-face again. It sounds like a wonderful evening and with some delicious coffee too, but mine can only be enjoyed first thing in the a.m.
